Start a pot of water to boil. In a large skillet, add olive oil, onions and garlic then saute over high heat for 2 minutes. Add sausage, sugar, basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Brown sausage then add spaghetti sauce, cover and simmer on medium low for 20 minutes. Water in pot should be at a boil, add spaghetti noodles and cook until tender. Drain noodles and place back in pot. Pour sauce into pot and mix well with butter and almost all Parmesan cheese, reserving a little for topping. Spread half into a 9 X 13 glass dish and sprinkle 4 oz of cheese over pasta, then spread remaining pasta and sprinkle remaining cheese on. Top cheddar cheese with leftover Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
