Roasted Garlic and Chardonnay Alfredo

A creamy pasta dish flavored with garlic, Parmesan cheese, chardonnay, and fresh basil.
Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chardonnay
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 6 large basil leaves, chopped
- 1 box pasta of choice

Method
Cook pasta as directed on package. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream, cream cheese and wine; simmer for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cheese, whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in fresh basil and serve over pasta.
