Homemade Pepperoni Pizza

Crisp pizza crust topped with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Top with grated Parmesan cheese to complement.

Ingredients:

1 (6 Ounce) Can Tomato Paste
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Dried Basil
½ tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Sugar
½ tsp Kosher Salt
¼ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
½ cup Water
3¼ cups Flour
2 (.25) Packs Quick Rise Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
1½ tsp Salt
1⅓ cups Warm Water
⅓ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 (6 Ounce) Package Pepperoni
1½ cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix tomato paste, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, ground black pepper and 1/2 cup water. Stir until ingredients are well blended. Set sauce aside.

Mix 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a separate large bowl. Stir in 1 1/3 cups water and olive oil. Mix until ingredients are well combined. Slowly stir in remaining flour. Stir until mixture is sticky and form into a ball. Transfer dough to a floured working surface and knead until smooth. Cover and let dough sit for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Evenly split dough into two portions. Form each portion into a flat 12-inch circle. Top each with sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.

Bake for 20 minutes or until crust is crisp and cheese begins to bubble. Slice and serve warm.
