Bite sized pieces of chicken are sauteed with onions, mushrooms, and herbs and marinara sauce and served over pasta.

2 Whole Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 jar Marinara Spaghetti Sauce, prepared or homemade
½ Small Onion, chopped
1 pt Heavy Cream
1× 12 oz pkg Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp Basil
1 tsp Oregano
2 Garlic Cloves, chopped
2-3 Virgin Olive Oil
Grated Parmesan Cheese, to taste
1 pkg Cooked Pasta, your choice


Cut chicken into pieces, 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch. Saute in pan with olive oil until lightly browned. Remove chicken from pan and using the same pan, saute mushrooms, onions and garlic until tender. Drain any excess water and oil from pan, add chicken, spaghetti sauce, basil, and oregano. Cook for approximately 5 to 10 minutes on medium low until it comes to low boil. Add cream, reduce heat to low and let cook uncovered until it thickens, approximately 20 minutes. Let sauce cool for 10 minutes then serve over pasta with grated Parmesan cheese.
