Angel Hair Spaghetti

Long, slow simmering is the key to develop the full flavor in this traditional Italian pasta sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground meat
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp basil
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 whole cloves fresh garlic
- 1 fresh garlic clove, minced
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 cup sweet Spanish onion
- 1 29 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 6 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 29 oz can water
- 1 box angel hair pasta

Method
Brown meat in pan (I prefer 93% lean meat) if not, drain fat. Add spices, onion, garlic and stir. Add tomato paste, stir until blended. Add sauce and water, stir until blended. Cook for about 1 1/2 hours. Cook pasta according to directions on box. Let strain 1 minute so it will not be watery.
